Note: Gotham FC won their second NWSL title in three years, defeating the heavily favored Washington Spirit in the finals. Check back later in winter for details on the 2026 season.
Gotham FC is the lone National Women’s Soccer League squad in the Northeast; they netted their first championship in 2023. The club, which is led by Ann Katrin-Berger, one of the league's top goalies, and leading goal scorer Esther Gonzalez, plays its home games at Sports Illustrated Stadium in Harrison, New Jersey. Visiting teams often include prominent players you may have seen in the Olympic Summer Games or the World Cup.
