Description
In 1922, Isamu Noguchi first moved to New York and this exhibition explores his lifelog relationship with the city where he created some of his most iconic artworks and envisioned many more. Tracing how the City shaped his art and how he sought to shape the City through public, communal spaces, the show marks the 40th anniversary of The Isamu Noguchi Foundation and Garden Museum, celebrating it as one of Noguchi’s most profound gifts to the city he called home.
