Description
New York City Tartan Week centers on the Tartan Day Parade (April 6), during which bagpipers, dancers and thousands of marchers celebrate all things Scottish. The grand marshal this year is actor Dougray Scott. The parade begins at 2pm, making its way up Sixth Avenue from 44th to 55th Streets. During the days before and after, a series of cocktail parties, dances, readings and musical performances take place.
