Description
Rodgers and Hammerstein’s first collaboration, Oklahoma!, is celebrating 75 years since the original Broadway production opened in 1943 and changed the American musical forever. Now it returns to Broadway in a transfer of the widely hailed revival that was a hit at Brooklyn's St. Ann's Warehouse. This reimagined production, directed by Daniel Fish, features new arrangements of the score's many beloved songs ("People Will Say We're In Love," "Oh, What A Beautiful Mornin'") performed by a country-style band in a community-hall setting.
