Description

Based on the novel My Love, My Love by Rosa Guy, Once on This Island is the Tony Award-winner for Best Revival of a Musical. Set on a Caribbean island, the musical tells the story of a peasant girl named Ti Moune who falls for a wealthy boy and uses that love to bring people of different social classes together. The show’s immersive setting has sand, water, a goat and even some chickens, and features music and lyrics by Tony winners Stephen Flaherty and Lynn Ahrens.
