Outsider Art Fair

The Outsider Art Fair was the first to give a voice to talented artists outside the mainstream. Now in its 30th year, the fair continues to highlight those who create work that is “visionary, intuitive, primitive and self-taught in nature.” While the fair has moved around over the years, many of its original dealers are still going strong. The fair tends to grow each year, so expect this one—taking place at the Metropolitan Pavilion in Chelsea—to be the biggest yet. Note that the first day is for press, VIPs and private viewing.
