Description

This new exhibition, part of Fraunces Tavern Museum's commemoration of America 250 and their ongoing Path Through Liberty series, examines how officers used daily orders to train, manage and discipline soldiers, turning ordinary colonists into a trained force. The exhibition highlights the book used by Colonel Benjamin Tallmadge, famed leader of the Culper Spy Ring during the American Revolutionary War, while stationed in New York in the summer of 1776.
