Description
Guadalupe Maravilla’s Planeta Abuelx is a newly commissioned work that focuses on the ancestral and indigenous roots of holistic healing. Among the themes Maravilla explores is the loss of traditional knowledge that resulted from Covid-19’s impact on the older generation. In addition to the sculptural elements, Maravilla’s installation will feature a new Broadway Billboard (a rotating series that appears above the park entrance) and a ground drawing based on the Salvadoran game tripa chuca.
