Description
At play:groundNYC, one kid’s trash is another kid’s toy. This junkyard-turned-play-space invites young people to create and construct—or demolish—with loose, recycled building materials and tools. In the interest of helicopter parents, the space is monitored by trained staff to supervise the young industrialists. See what your kids can design in this 50,000-square-foot space, open weekends May through October on Governors Island.
