The inaugural Powerhouse: International features large-scale performances by artists from around the world, curated by David Binder. Highlights include Mette Ingvartse en’s Skatepark (September 25–27), William Kentridge’s Olivier-winning opera Sibyl (October 8–11), the first part of the Cadela Força Trilogy, Chapter I: The Bride and the Goodnight Cinderella, which explores sexual violence (October 23–25), and Amari Marshall’s The Imagining, which brings everyone to the dance floor (December 13).
