Description

The Public Art Fund kicks off its impressive 2026 collection with four exhibitions. In May, the first major public art show from ceramicist and painter Woody De Othello takes over Brooklyn Bridge Park with large-scale bronze sculptures and totemic structures. Brooklyn-based contemporary artist Genesis Belanger also gets her first-ever public exhibition—this one in City Hall Park—featuring three sculptural vignettes that explore social and political themes. Opening in June at Rockaway Beach, Between Tides is a group exhibition that features works highlighting Queens’ diversity. And finally, French artist Camille Henrot’s first public exhibition in NYC lands in Doris C. Freedman Plaza in Central Park, where her sculptures of dogs are sure to bring smiles and joy to visitors at the park’s entrance.
