The Queens County Farm, the last working farm in the borough, plays host to the annual Queens Agricultural Fair, formerly known as the Queens County Fair. This year marks the 41st installment of this slice of country life, which takes place on the eastern edge of the borough, featuring carnival rides, livestock, contests, games and even a corn maze. There's also plenty of live music and theatrical performances throughout the weekend along with local craft and food vendors, and popular country-style contests like pie-eating and corn-husking.
