Description

This exhibition, whose title is drawn from an Amiri Baraka poem, is Rashid Johnson’s largest to date, filling the Guggenheim’s rotunda and going beyond the walls with large sculptures. It traces Johnson’s evolution over a 25-year period as it looks at race, alienation, artistic escape and other important themes in his work.
