Description

While Renoir’s drawings, watercolors and pastels are far less widely known than his paintings, drawing remained a key part of his artistic practice throughout his career. This exhibit, co-organized by the Musee d’Orsay in Paris, shows how drawings were an integral part of his process, whether he was working on portraiture or just doing quick impressionistic sketches of everyday life.
