Jun 19, 2026 - Sep 27, 2026
Description
Organized by the Lower Manhattan Cultural Council, River to River is a celebration of the downtown arts scene, highlighting galleries, public art installations and performances. Originally created during the aftermath of 9/11, the festival aims to shine a spotlight on the thinkers, artists, curators and musicians that make Lower Manhattan one of the world’s most important art destinations. This marks the festival’s 25th year—highlights include The Unintended Blues, an exhibition that documents rising sea levels amid climate change; performances from visionary artist Bill T. Jones; and jazz musician Esperanza Spalding in concert.Events take place throughout Lower Manhattan and Governors Island.
