Sacred Sites Open House

calendar_month

This event has already occurred

Description

See inside of some of the City’s most magnificent places of worship during Sacred Sites Open House weekend. Last year 68 sites participated—among them Madison Avenue Presbyterian Church on the Upper East Side, Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church on the Upper West Side, Christ Church in Riverdale and St. Anselm’s in the Bronx—and the 2017 edition looks to be even bigger. Tours will center around the theme “Stained Glass: Windows on this World and the Next” and will include a look at the Met’s stained-glass conservation lab.
