Description
What would being crowned Miss Ghana 1986 mean for Paulina, queen bee of Aburi Girls Boarding School? Will the the arrival of an American transfer student affect her chances? This show, which had its debut Off-Broadway at the Lucille Lortel Theatre in 2017, seeks those answers. It kicks off Manhattan Theatre Club's 2026–27 season with a cast that includes Denée Benton, Patina Miller and Erin Morton, under the direction of Tony nominee Whitney White.
