Missing Shakespeare in the Park this summer? Shakespeare Downtown has you covered. The company will present free performances of Macbeth at Castle Clinton in The Battery, where audiences can experience the Bard’s plays much as they were staged 400 years ago—in an open-air theater in the round. Tickets are doled out at the theater the night of, beginning at 6pm; performances begin at 6:30pm.
