Description

Summer for the City celebrates the healing power and resiliency of the arts. Across the course of hundreds of events, many of which are free or pay-what-you-wish, Lincoln Center highlights community partners and resident organizations. Campus venues include the City’s largest outdoor dance floor (complete with 10-foot disco ball!), an outdoor cinema in Damrosch Park and an underground speakeasy featuring comedy, poetry and jazz. Festivalgoers can also enjoy dance troupes, Festival Orchestra concerts, Juneteenth celebrations, world music and the American Modern Opera Company’s premiere of The Comet/Poppea.
