Description

Visit The Corona Collection, a new oral history exhibition that brings Louis and Lucille Armstrong to life through the voices of their neighbors and offers an insight into their home in Corona, Queens. Preserving memories and stories from the Corona and East Elmhurst communities, the exhibit showcases archival materials and oral histories, highlighting the Armstrongs’ lasting impact. While Louis is a global jazz icon, he was fondly known as ‘Uncle Louie’ in the neighborhood.
