Description

English playwright Jez Butterworth’s (Jerusalem) newest drama, set in Northern Ireland during the thick of the Troubles, is a devastating look at grief, love, trauma, longing, history and hate—all through the prism of the Carney clan. The play’s arrival on Broadway comes after a year of critical praise and sold-out shows in London. Oscar and Tony Award winner Sam Mendes (American Beauty, Cabaret) directs.
