Description
Tracy Letts’ The Minutes makes the move to Broadway after its world premiere in Chicago. Letts has reteamed with his August: Osage County director Ann D. Shapiro for the production of this topical play, which is set entirely in a city council meeting populated by 10 quirky citizens from the small town of Big Cherry. Like the Tony-winning August, Letts’ latest mixes high-stakes drama with a healthy dose of comedy, taking an uneasy look at rural politics and power while exposing hidden truths and unsettling questions.
