Description

The Museum of the City of New York partners with the Gotham Center for New York City History to transform MCNY’s entire third floor into a journey through Revolutionary-era New York. This exhibition draws a timeline from the first inklings of a rebellion in 1763 to New York’s emergence as the first capital of the US in 1790. Expect historical objects, multimedia installations and interactive components that bring history to life and tell the stories of those who helped shape—and were shaped by—this pivotal time.
