Description

Thomas Jefferson, founding father and third US president, was also an accomplished gardener, farmer and architect. This exhibit explores his life outside the public sphere through more than 30 documents and artifacts from the Massachusetts Historical Society including his last letter to John Adams, early drawings of Monticello and a copy of the Declaration of Independence written in his own hand.
