Description
Cosmetics magnate Ronald S. Lauder, the cofounder of the Neue Galerie, has devoted his museum to German and Austrian art, but this exhibition takes a wide-spanning look at his personal holdings. The Lauder Collection features pieces and covers Greek and Roman antiquities, Flemish tapestries, Renaissance works and modern paintings, placing them in a way to reflect how Lauder displays them in his own home.
