Description
This musical adaptation of Thornton Wilder’s The Skin of Our Teeth, which was a 1940s dark comedy with biblical inspiration, comes from playwright Ethan Lipton. In his contemporary update, the Antrobus family has somehow survived millennia, living through all the problems humankind faces—large and small. Expect witty tunes with a mix of absurdity and underlying sweetness, hallmarks of Lipton’s songwriting. Leigh Silverman directs.
