Description
This production, which transfers to Broadway following a sold-out run at BAM, is the first major New York City revival of Lorraine Hansberry’s story of identity, idealism and love, features Oscar Isaac and Rachel Brosnahan as Sidney and Iris Brustein, a Village couple struggling with the disconnect between their idealistic dreams and their difficult home and work lives. The show, originally produced back in 1964, was the playwright’s second to hit Broadway, after the landmark A Raisin in the Sun.
