Description
The Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show, which started back in 1877, is a favorite of dog lovers worldwide, showcasing some of the most beloved (and rarest) breeds in the world. Breed judging and benching will be at the Javits Center (this is also the site for the agility competition on January 31), while junior showmanship finals along with group and best-in-show judging take place evenings at Madison Square Garden (February 2–3). Roughly 3,000 dogs take part in the various competitions, which attract some 20,000 spectators from all over.
