Discover how the world of soccer became a symbol of resilience, remembrance and unity in the aftermath of September 11, 2001. This special installation features artifacts connected to the sport, including items from the US National Teams, tributes to fallen first responders with deep ties to soccer and a signed David Beckham jersey that helped raise funds for victims’ families through the 9/11 New York Soccer Foundation. The exhibition explores themes of resilience, community, healing and the unifying power of sports during times of crisis.
