See how the depiction of women in popular music changed dramatically during the 20th century in this high-energy and laugh-out-loud musical. A narrator and three singers tell the story of women going from “codependence to independence,” singing such inspiring and apropos songs as “Respect,” “Girls Just Wanna Have Fun,” “I Will Survive” and “Stand by Your Man.”
