A woman sings passionately on stage in front of a stack of illuminated suitcases, wearing a colorful jacket and striped shirt, with a microphone headset and a dramatic, warm orange lighting.
Two actors in formal attire smile and hold each other on stage, surrounded by falling money and stacks of suitcases, under dramatic blue and purple lighting with spotlights above.
Two actors perform onstage surrounded by stacked suitcases. One stands on luggage, holding a drink and speaking, while the other, holding a suitcase, looks at their phone. Stage lights shine above them, creating a dramatic effect.

Description

The Broadway debut of Two Strangers, which premiered in the UK under the title The Season, is a reminder that rom-coms are only as good as their comedic timing (in this case, excellent) and that New York City can never have too many songs written about it. This buddy comedy stars Christiani Pitts as Robin, a no-nonsense Brooklynite with an expertly crafted customer-service voice, and Sam Tutty as Dougal, an earnest British tourist who maybe spends a little too much time with his “mum.” Each member of this mismatched duo prompts self-reflection in the other as they go on a journey that (surprise!) is about more than just cake.
