Heavy metal and hard rock fans may be surprised to learn that these music styles and others similar in spirit have had an enormous presence in the Bronx since the 1960s. This exhibition explores the little-known history of the Bronx bands and musicians that brought heavy music to the borough. Discover photos, memorabilia, oral histories, recordings and videos, plus a handful of related events and programming.
