Description

The nation’s most prestigious tennis tournament returns to the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center to close out the summer. The Grand Slam event brings the biggest stars in tennis, such as defending singles champs Jannik Sinner and Clair Fahey, to New York City. Qualifying matches (which you can attend for free) and Arthur Ashe Kids’ Day take place in the days leading up to the official start. Both are part of the tournament’s family-friendly Fan Week (Aug 18–23), which also features an exhibition; a moved-up title competition, the mixed doubles championship (Aug 19–20); and a free concert (these three events require tickets). Book tickets and find more information at usopen.org.
