On Halloween, New Yorkers from all walks of life will join in this quirky and fantastical parade through the heart of New York City's Greenwich Village. Parading up Sixth Avenue from Canal Street to West 15th Street, costumed revelers will be joined by giant puppets and musical bands. The family-friendly event is a quintessential NYC celebration, taking over the streets with spooky, spectacular fun. This year's theme is "Meow!" and its grand marshal is esteemed Broadway actor André de Shields, who is—fittingly, for the theme—finishing up a run as Old Deuteronomy in Cats: The Jellicle Ball at the Perelman Center.
