Description

The Art Deco Society of New York presents this in-person walking tour led by architectural historian Tony Robins through Washington Heights—home to stunning Art Deco architecture, including six-story apartment buildings boasting incredible attention to detail. See work by Horace Ginsbern, Jacob Felson, Israel Crausman, Miller & Goldhammer, Charles Kreymborg and H. Herbert Lilien. In addition to apartment facades, tour-goers will enjoy a visit to one of the city’s few Art Deco–style subway entrances, a one-story taxpayer (commercial building) and the Fourth Church of Christ, Scientist.
