Water for Elephants

First a book and then a movie starring some big names, Water for Elephants now hits the Broadway stage as a musical. It follows the story of an aspiring veterinarian enduring loss who joins a traveling circus, cares for the animals and meets the (married) girl of his dreams, only to come into conflict with her husband, the domineering show leader. Expect some fireworks, not least from the animals. Jessica Stone (Kimberly Akimbo) directs.
