Is it overkill when an eatery dedicated to mac and cheese is bright yellow, the staff wears custom-made yellow Vans shoes and the tiny room and packaging are shaped like a macaroni noodle? To mac-and-cheese lovers it might sound like a franchise concept to invest in, but so far this is the only one. There are 12 varieties on hand here, with offerings like "mac Stroganoff," "cheeseburger mac" and "Mayan chipotle," with spicy chicken and Chihuahua cheese. The spot, with seating for 12, is basically an annex of its trendy sister restaurant, Delicatessen, and is mostly used for takeout.
