Dumbo Archway and Plaza
Description
Nestled under the Manhattan Bridge on the Brooklyn side, the Dumbo Archway and Plaza is a spacious public area that plays host to all types of events. Formerly a link between Brooklyn warehouses and the waterfront as well as a storage space, the area was converted in 2009 by the Dumbo Improvement District and NYCDOT. With its 45-foot-high cathedral-like ceilings, it’s an atmospheric setting for events like the Brooklyn Flea (weekends beginning in March), Live at the Archway summer music and holiday performances.
