Tour: Battle of Brooklyn's Battle Pass

Description
This one-hour tour marks the 250th anniversary of the Battle of Brooklyn-the first and largest battle of the American War for Independence. Beginning at Lefferts Historic House at 2pm, the highlight of the tour is Prospect Park's Battle Pass, home to replica fortifications that showcase the August 27, 1776 battle between soldiers from Pennsylvania and New England and their British and Hessian counterparts. The tour also showcases the aftermath of the battle from the perspectives of enslaved Africans and soldiers who fought in what is now Prospect Park.
