Description
Asia Society is celebrating its 70th anniversary, having been founded in 1956 by John D. Rockefeller III. This exhibition brings together 70 pieces from the society’s permanent collection, many of which were selected by Rockefeller himself along with his wife, Blanchette Hooker Rockefeller. Highlights include Buddhist and Hindu sculptures along with rare Chinese, Korean and Japanese ceramics.
