Juneteenth Freedom Parade & Festival

Le Juneteenth Freedom Parade and Festival revient à Staten Island pour sa quatrième année, avec des chars, une levée de drapeaux, un pavillon de santé, une reconstitution historique et des spectacles. Le défilé commence à midi à l’intersection de School Road et Bay Street et comprend cinq chars sur le thème de l’histoire vivante : Harriet Tubman, Madame CJ Walker, Civil Rights Freedom Fighters Walk, Western/Cowboy & ; Cowgirl et Afrofuturism. Le défilé se termine à 13 h au Tappen Park, où commence le festival et la reconstitution.
