L’opéra métropolitain ouvre sa saison 2019-2020 avec une nouvelle production de Gershwin’s Porgy and Bess . Der Fliegende Holländer de Wagner, Berg’s Wozzeck, Handel’s Agrippina et Philip Glass’s Akhnaten figurent parmi les autres nouvelles scènes de la saison. Les amateurs d’opéra doivent également garder un œil sur Macbeth , Turandot , Madama Butterfly , La Bohème et The Magic Flute .
