Description
Set sail for a one-of-a-kind sunset concert in New York Harbor. New Amsterdam Sounds is a floating performance aboard a historic sailing vessel, featuring live music by Vivienne Aerts with visuals projected onto the sails against the Manhattan skyline. The program showcases music from Aerts’s new album Current, originally recorded aboard her 1951 Dutch sailboat, blending vocals, keys, electronics and field recordings into an intimate, cinematic soundscape. As the sun sets, audiences will experience an immersive performance that brings this water-born project back to life on the harbor. Ticket tiers include general admission and VIP packages featuring special treats by an Eleven Madison Park–trained pastry chef.
The ship leaves from 89 South St at Pier 17.
