New York City Center Encores!
Feb 3, 2027 - May 9, 2027
Description
A favorite of theater fans, New York City Center’s Encores! series revives musicals for two-week runs of elaborately staged readings. See top Broadway talent breathe new life into an old classic or mount a lesser-known show audiences might not have the chance to see anywhere else. This season features the family-friendly Peanuts musical, You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown (February 3–14); George and Ira Gershwin’s Let ’Em Eat Cake (March 17–28); and Kander and Ebb’s Kiss of the Spider Woman (April 28–May 9). Encores! has also been an incubator for Broadway revivals like the 2025 production of Ragtime, which won four Tony Awards in 2026.
