Description

Le Moynihan Train Hall a ouvert ses portes avec des installations spécifiques au site par Stan Douglas (Penn Station’s Half Century , 2020), Elmgreen & Dragset (The Hive , 2020) et Kehinde Wiley (Go, 2020), les premières commissions permanentes des artistes de la ville. Les pièces reflètent l’architecture et l’histoire du bâtiment, en particulier les liens entre le bureau de poste de Farley de 1912, qui s’est transformé en nouveau hall de train, et la gare originale de Pennsylvanie, qui a ouvert en face du bureau de poste deux ans avant la construction du bâtiment de Farley.
