Description
The venerable Whitney Biennial, the longest-running and most important survey of American art, returns for its 82nd edition. The 2026 show includes work from 56 artists, duos and collectives spanning “various forms of relationality” ranging from familial ties to geopolitical entanglements, technological affinities, shared mythologies and more. This is the first Biennial following the Whitney’s launch of its expanded free admission program, which provides free access to the museum for visitors ages 25 and under.
