Vander Ende-Onderdonk House
Description
Built in 1709, this historic fieldhouse is the oldest of its kind in New York. Home to the Greater Ridgewood Historical Society, the cultural landmark features lush gardens, classic Dutch colonial architecture, and a community museum with guided tours. Family-friendly events—including film screenings, genealogy workshops, basket-weaving classes, and festivals—explore local history and traditions. Open weekends 12-5 p.m.
Note: The museum is currently closed until Summer 2027 due to construction.
