Description
A glass of bubbly shouldn’t be reserved only for special occasions—or so suggests Danny Meyer’s new wine bar in the Redbury New York hotel. The casually sophisticated spot offers a lengthy list of champagnes and sparkling wines by the bottle, varied in grape type and affordability. The bar’s airy, modern space, lined with homey black-and-white photographs, makes a nice setting for sipping; red and white wines, beer and aperitifs round out the drink selections. Pair them with small plates like pancetta panini, potato pancakes and fried sweetbreads, and consider a whimsical Negroni pop for dessert.
