Description
Owner Jon Snyder founded the Ciao Bella gelato brand as a teen, then sold it in 1989 to go back to school. The third-generation creamer—whose parents and grandparents owned a Carvel franchise—returned to the business with this lab in 2002, much to the relief of the top chefs around town who clamor for his custom flavors. Locals can count on good old-fashioned tastes like mint chip and hazelnut, made daily at the storefront.
