McCarren Park

Description

With its newly renovated running track, plus soccer fields, bocce ball pits, handball courts and a jungle gym-esque fitness corner, Williamsburg’s 35-acre McCarren Park is one of the more crowded outdoor recreation spots in Brooklyn. Whether it’s people laying on blankets soaking up the sun, locals jogging and walking their babies and dogs around the track (although technically, dogs aren’t allowed) or kids playing soccer on Saturday and Sunday mornings, everyone flocks to McCarren if it’s above 60 degrees.
